Super Bowl Week

The Super Bowl was an exciting game and that’s the only way one should be played. It came down to the end with the Packers winning. But unfortunately for Packers fans this is my blog and since I didn’t care who won either way I’m not talking about it anymore.
This blog will be about what went down the week before the Super Bowl when the Regular season awards were given out. This year’s awards were easy to predict and I did it with almost 100% accuracy. Here are the winners of the awards:
MVP- Patriots quarterback Tom Brady won the 2nd MVP of his career and became the first player to get everyone of the 50 votes given out.
Coach of the Year- Patriots Coach Bill Belichick won his 3rd Coach of the Year award and became the first Coach to have three of these along with 3 Super Bowl wins.
Offensive Player of the Year- Tom Brady, with an NFL record 9.0 interception ratio it was an eas choice
Defensive Player of the Year- Steelers safety Troy Polamalu, I guess this award didn’t help the Steelers win the Super Bowl too bad; Polamalu did have a nice hit on Greg Jennings though, but Jennings also held on for a touchdown.
Offensive Rookie of the Year- Rams quarterback Sam Bradford, this was an easy award as Bradford was the only rookie standout this season.
Defensive Rookie of the Year- Lions defensive tackle Ndomukong Suh (pronounced en’da:mekin ‘ su). He led all defensive tackles in quarterback sacks with 10.0 and made the Lions defense which was not very good.
Comeback Player of the Year- Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, another easy choice as he resurrected his career this season after the Eagles parted ways with long time quarterback Donovan McNabb (Redskins), and Vick was supposed to be Kevin Kolb’s backup at the beginning of the year.
